Every girl I know is a Charlies' Angels fan. I wanted to be one so bad, I have it tattooed on my back. I think it was their strength and toughness, well tough-chic-ness. The sunglasses, the glossy lips with the open shirt button downs, and the Va-va-voom hair !!! Don't forget the super tight Levi bell-bottoms. Luckily for me my fav designers Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 have shown up this S/S with a fashion trip down memory lane. From the bubble gum logo tee to the high-waisted gold-trimmed wide leg jeans, it was a definite bookmark. Even though skinny jeans rule right now , I will not put my super tight bell bottoms too far in the back of the closet. The bathing suits were very Bianca Jagger/ Michelle Pfeiffer-esque. Black and classic, but extremely sexy. The Runway Show featured some mature sirens as well, Esther Canadas, Fervanda Tavares and Nadege. I'm glad Dsquared2 went back in time, it is great to have some variety in my wardrobe this season. With all the new indie designers following each others footsteps, its nice to have someone step out of line. I love showing up somewhere looking completely different than everyone else and even though Gucci is featuring in this timeline , they both are going in completely different directions. That is exactly the route I want to wear. Thanks Charlie!,
