My first Herve Leger was given to me by a friend's sister from France. She gained some weight and said it would never fit her the same. It was like a funeral. I assured her I would take good care of the dress and wear it with French-like pride. Secretly I smiled like the evil witch who gave sleeping beauty the apple.
MINE, Mine, mine, mine Ha Ha!!!! Yes, happy day! My grin was from ear to ear. I did the happy dance , pulled out the Jimmy
Choo's and put on the dress... It was like that sound from the Angels in Heaven
AAAAAAHHHHH - The Philadelphia Cream Cheese commercial. That was last year. I now own two more. I got a call to appear in a movie as an upscale wedding guest. YES! got that, I'm always looking for an excuse to wear one of them, here's my chance. I decide to still shop around and see what new frocks by Max where out, just in case. I went to my top go-to for ideas site www.style.com and WOW, I will be working over time this summer I see. Aesthetically Sexy is the best way to describe the new season's line. Not to mention the
CURVES. I called my friend's sis who has since then brought three Herve's in her new size 6 frame, (she just toned up and ate healthy instead of dramatic dieting , she now looks STUNNING!) to ask her advice on the difference between the dresses from now and before Max took over and she said not much. She still loves the "Bondage Dress" and has yet to find a replacement. I have to say by having an original and a newer edition, the newer ones definitely have a better cut and the boning lays
flatter. It may also be the
original I have was actually 3 years old before it got into my possession but there is nothing like owning it. And no sorry I won't be selling it ....
P.s. Check out the Whitney Art soiree 0n June 18th in New York where Max Azria and his wife appeared, plus many Models and Celebs donned his collection.
